COCOPIL
COCOPIL aims to develop conversation assistants and cobots (collaborative robots) capable of learning, planning and executing complex tasks by interacting with humans, without the intervention of an expert programmer. In order to achieve this goal, we will develop a natural language programming toolkit that allows users to teach new, goal-directed actions and sequences of actions to conversational cobots and build common actions with them, via a natural and interactive conversation. These cobots will revolutionize today’s market for virtual assistants, which can only respond to largely pre-programmed commands by performing simple actions, as well as the market for chatbots, which focuses on lexical schemas with no real semantic understanding. Our cobots will assist workers in a maintenance environment or manufacturing complex objects, such as airplane wings.
This project is financed by the Occitanie region within the call Graine.
